Kenneth Walker has resumed practicing in full for the Seahawks
It's good news for all involved and Walker can take his place as the team's RB1, though rookie Zach Charbonnet lurks. The Seahawks employ a deep committee at running back and their selection of Charbonnet during 2023's rookie draft immediately impacted Walker's ranking. There's simply no way to accurately predict the ultimate snap-share between the two backs, though Walker would seem to be the early-down option with Charbonnet utilized more in down-and-distance situations. Both backs could carry-the-load if needed. Sadly, for dynasty managers, neither back can confidently be projected at this juncture until we see regular-season usage. Injury to either would present significant opportunity for the other. Kenneth Walker is found as DLF's RB9

Seahawks running back Ken Walker has been sidelined with a groin injury.
The good news is really two-fold here. First, it seems the Seahawks aren't overly concerned at the moment. Second, Zach Charbonnet won't have a chance to shine in his absence as he's dealing with a bum shoulder at the moment. The Seattle backfield distribution is one of the biggest storylines this off-season and it seems we won't have clarity any time soon. Walker remains our RB9 at the moment.

The Seattle Seahawks drafted UCLA running back Zach Charbonnet with the 51st overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
This pick is a surprise to nobody who follows Seattle closely. After losing Chris Carson to retirement and Travis Homer in free agency, the Seahawks had a hole behind Kenneth Walker and moved quickly to fill it. This is a pick that's better in reality than fantasy and also one that hurts both Charbonnet and Walker, who had moved all the way up to our RB3 overall. With Charbonnet in the mix, that ranking is clearly going to drop. While dynasty owners shouldn't panic at all with their Walker shares, it's hard to look at this as anything other than bad news as Head Coach Pete Carrol will stop at nothing to create competition at every possible position.
