Dynasty Injury Report: Week 11

Kyle Trimble

The NFL is approaching the holidays with Thanksgiving on Thursday and that means plenty of football on a short week for many teams. By now, you have either locked up a playoff spot, fighting like crazy to stay in contention, or auto-setting your lineup if injuries ravage your team. Getting the latest information on each player injury is crucial in securing the right to play for your league championship.

My name is Kyle Trimble, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, the other half of the injury analyst team here at Dynasty League Football. We are here each and every week breaking down the latest injuries and providing perspective on how to navigate the pitfalls that are injuries.

I would also encourage you to tune in to the DLF YouTube channel (make sure to subscribe!) to tune in to helpful content throughout the week.

Let’s look at the various injuries heading into week 12 and any concerns moving forward.

Joe Burrow, QB CIN

Injury: Right wrist ligament tear

Return to Play: 2024

Burrow suffered a right wrist injury midway through the second quarter of last Thursday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Cameras showed him trying to throw a football in obvious discomfort on the sidelines before later exiting. Further testing revealed that he had suffered a ligament tear in his wrist, likely the scapholunate ligament. Burrow will undergo surgery and miss the remainder of the season. For now, Jake Browning is the starter, but for fantasy purposes, look anywhere else for a replacement.

Mark Andrews, TE BAL
