Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings

August 2018 – The fantasy football season is almost upon us, and our dynasty fantasy football rankings are here to help you take down your dynasty leagues. These dynasty fantasy football rankings assume PPR scoring for dynasty and keeper leagues. The variation between PPR and standard scoring will be negligible as they are intended to gauge the long-term potential value of players over the next several seasons.

Click on the tab for an individual ranker to view individual dynasty fantasy football rankings, including potential comments and tiers. You can filter these rankings by last date updated as well as sort by columns. Our dynasty rankings are available in full to DLF Premium Subscribers. Jake Anderson - Dynasty Offense Top 200 - Last updated: 8/16

Rank Avg Tier Name Team Age Comments
1 1.571 Odell Beckham Giants 25 Most talented WR in the league. Situation isn't as desirable as Hopkins but talent keeps him locked into the 1.01 for me.
2 2.141 DeAndre Hopkins Texans 26 Hopkins is attached to what seems to be a rising star in Watson. He's a target hog in that offense.
3 6.001 Antonio Brown Steelers 30 AB is the epitone of what you want out of a WR. His age doesn't concern me as much as some. I will think he has several years of elite production left in the tank.
Tier 2
4 2.712 Todd Gurley Rams 24 Gurley singlehandedly won people championships last year and I don't see any reason not to put him as the RB1.
5 5.432 Ezekiel Elliott Cowboys 23 If it wasn't for the off the field concerns, you would see Zeke at the very top of everyone's RB ranks.
6 8.432 David Johnson Cardinals 26 Some people are sleeping on DJ just a bit. We saw what he can do when he's healthy two years ago. Love that he has a potential young stud at QB now.
7 14.432 Le'Veon Bell Steelers 26 Arguably the best RB in the league. Where is he playing next year? How much does he have left in the tank? These are some serious questions. I would recommend selling if you can get a haul.
8 8.292 Saquon Barkley Giants 21 Barkley is the real deal and he narrowly edges out DJ because of age and the value he'll continue to carry even if he doesn't have a monster 2018.
Tier 3
9 13.143 Julio Jones Falcons 29 Julio Jones is the most under appreciated player in this league. I own him in almost every league I'm in and will be riding him to championships.
10 11.143 Mike Evans Buccaneers 25 There's too much hate going around for one of the most promising young WRs in the league. He's quickly becoming a buy low candidate
11 11.863 Keenan Allen Chargers 26 Keenan Allen is a PPR machine and as long as he stays healthy he'll maintain a low end WR1 status with a high floor.
12 9.433 Alvin Kamara Saints 22 Kamara edges out Cook and Hunt just by a bit here. He may never be a work horse but as long as he's playing under Sean Payton, I'm all in.
13 7.003 Michael Thomas Saints 25 I'm lower on MT than most. I wasn't a fan of him coming out of OSU but I will admit he's become a much better player. I worry about him after Brees retires.
14 14.713 Kareem Hunt Chiefs 23 Hunt was a steal in rookie drafts this time just last year. Perfect combination of skill set and landing spot.
15 18.573 Dalvin Cook Vikings 23 Many are worried about Cook's injurty history. I'm not one of them. He's ahead of schedule with his rehab and should be good to go for training camp if not earlier.
16 32.293 Amari Cooper Raiders 24 This could be a make or break year for Amari's dynasty value. If he hits he will but a 1st rounder again but if he has the same season as last year his value could drop significantly
17 19.433 A.J. Green Bengals 30 Aging and on a bad offense but the talent is there and he's guaranteed a ton of volume as long as he can stay healthy
Tier 4
18 15.574 Davante Adams Packers 25 Super TD dependent but also attached to an elite QB for the next 4-5 years you'd think
19 21.714 Joe Mixon Bengals 22 Top 5 talent in the league. Situation isn't ideal and he needs to be fed to produce top 10 RB numbers. I think he can if they do.
20 18.434 Christian McCaffrey Panthers 22 PPR machine for CAR. Only concern is he will have to do more in the running game to reach his potential in dynasty.
21 19.714 Leonard Fournette Jaguars 23 Love the talent but health is a major concern. Can he continue to catch 30 plus passes a year? I'm not so sure about that
22 18.864 Melvin Gordon Chargers 25 -
23 29.434 Devonta Freeman Falcons 26 Arguably the most under appreciated RB in the league. I think this is a nice bounce back year for Freeman
24 28.294 Rob Gronkowski Patriots 29 -
25 28.004 Adam Thielen Vikings 28 Thielen is a top 10 dynasty WR for me. White and undrafted will keep him flying under the radar. Go buy him
26 22.714 Stefon Diggs Vikings 24 Top 10 talent at the WR position but he has to stay healthy to live up to he expectations. New contract means he's not going to leave and become a target hog somewhere else.
27 25.004 Travis Kelce Chiefs 28 -
28 29.294 Jarvis Landry Browns 25 -
Tier 5
29 29.715 Allen Robinson Bears 25 I'm a bit worried about a WR coming off a major injury AND going to a new team but the upside is big in ChiTown
30 16.575 Tyreek Hill Chiefs 24 Uber efficient but can he keep it up with more weapons in that KC offense. I think he can.

63 58.868 Royce Freeman Broncos 22 -
Tier 9
64 53.009 Aaron Rodgers Packers 34 This is where I would feel comfortable pulling the trigger on the first QB off the board. Doubt he's here in most drafts but I prefer to get at least one positional player before grabbing a QB.
65 57.009 Jay Ajayi Eagles 25 -
66 77.719 Calvin Ridley Falcons 23 -
67 82.009 Sterling Shepard Giants 25 -
68 54.149 Carson Wentz Eagles 25 Carson is an absolute magician tied to one of the best offensive minds in football. Really excited to see what he does once he regains 100% health.
69 64.869 Cam Newton Panthers 29 5 top 5 QB seasons and he's still the most under appreciated player in dynasty/fantasy
70 65.299 Chris Godwin Buccaneers 22 -
71 51.439 Russell Wilson Seahawks 29 Wilson has been a main stay in the top tier of fantasy QBs. I do have some concerns about his continued bad OL play and his lack of weapons in the passing game.
72 82.149 LeSean McCoy Bills 30 -
73 83.719 Devin Funchess Panthers 24 -
74 67.149 Deshaun Watson Texans 23 Watson put on a show in his rookie season before injury. If he can even be 80% of what he is, he's deserving of this ranking.

Pete Lawrence - Dynasty Offense Top 200 - Last updated: 9/20

Rank Avg Tier Name Team Age Comments
1 1.571 Odell Beckham Giants 25 The first receiver in NFL history to start his career with three consecutive seasons of at least 70 receptions, 1000 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns. The only thing that stopped him in 2017 was an injury. Giants are still a win-now team and wh
2 2.141 DeAndre Hopkins Texans 26 Three straight seasons over 150 targets and now Hopkins is paired with Deshaun Watson for the foreseeable future. Might be able to dethrone OBJ in my rankings shortly.
3 6.001 Antonio Brown Steelers 30 Five straight seasons over 150 targets! His worst numbers during this stretch? 101 receptions (2017), 1284 receiving yards (2016) and 8 receiving touchdowns (2013). In this hypothetical “worst season” he would have been the WR4 in 2017.
4 2.711 Todd Gurley Rams 24 Far and away Todd Gurley was the Fantasy MVP in 2017 and led many teams to championships. With an ADP near the end of round two in twelve teams leagues, he was fantasy in 2017. Gotta pay up in 2018.
5 5.431 Ezekiel Elliott Cowboys 23 In his rookie year, he posted 1,994 yards from scrimmage (1,631 rushing and 363 receiving) in just 15 games. In his suspension shortened 2017 campaign he almost broke 1,000 yards in just 10 total games. A healthy motivated Zeke in 2018 is primed for massi
6 8.431 David Johnson Cardinals 26 The only thing that limited David Johnson in 2017 was an unlucky injury. DJ will miss Carson Palmer at QB but rookie QB Josh Rosen should find a quick friend in Johnson and his receiving ability. The OL has issues but it wasn’t a talented group when he do
7 8.291 Saquon Barkley Giants 21 I believe in #Baequon. The Giants didn’t draft him second overall to ease him into this offense. Expect volume and opportunity right out the gate. The Giants also added Nate Solder and Will Hernandez to improve the OL for Barkley.
8 7.001 Michael Thomas Saints 25 Michael Thomas saw more targets and air yards in 2017. The only decrease was in touchdowns on just three fewer red zone targets from 2016 (19 RZ Targets) to 2017 (16 RZ Targets). I expect big things for Thomas in 2018 as he continues to improve as a recei
9 11.861 Keenan Allen Chargers 26 Remember when Keenan Allen was “injury prone”? A healthy Allen was WR 3 in PPR leagues in 2017 and owners should expect more of the same in 2018.
10 13.141 Julio Jones Falcons 29 You won’t see me on team #NeverJulio. He has big-time production and volume directed towards him with Matt Ryan throwing the ball. He only posted three touchdowns in 2017 which should climb in 2018 as OC Sarkisian figures out how to incorporate Julio more
11 16.571 Tyreek Hill Chiefs 24 Tyreek Hill has speed you can't teach and with Mahomes arm airing it out deep, there is very little reason to not believe that Hill can’t at least replicate his 2017 numbers.
12 11.141 Mike Evans Buccaneers 25 The volume is still there for the young Mike Evans as he has received at least 120 targets every year since coming into the NFL. Look for big things in 2018 with a healthy Jameis Winston throwing to Evans.
13 9.431 Alvin Kamara Saints 22 Regression isn’t a bad word. Kamara might not continue his crazy touches per touchdown numbers and efficiency metrics but with Mark Ingram out for four games, his volume should spike in 2018.
14 19.711 Leonard Fournette Jaguars 23 Volume is king at the RB position and Leonard Fournette hit the ground running in Jacksonville with 268 carries and 48 targets in only 13 games. Add in G Andrew Norwell, one of the better run blockers in the league, and Fournette should keep rolling for y
15 19.431 A.J. Green Bengals 30 A.J. Green was still the WR10 in 2017 as Andy Dalton tried to get him the ball behind the Bengals porous OL. Cincinnati invested in their OLD in 2018 with hopes that a clean pocket will help Dalton increase his accuracy to their star WR.
Tier 2
16 14.712 Kareem Hunt Chiefs 23 Kareem Hunt produced a fantastic season as a rookie. How will losing his OC and the return of Spencer Ware impact Hunt in 2018 though? Hunt would be a few spots higher for me if there weren’t so many questions surrounding his situation.
17 15.572 Davante Adams Packers 25 Adams was without superstar QB Aaron Rodgers for a majority of 2017 and still posted a 91 reception, 1073 receiving yards and 11 receiving touchdown season. With a healthy Rodgers back at the helm look for him to be even better in 2018.
18 18.862 Melvin Gordon Chargers 25 While “Meh”lvin Gordon has always been a lightning rod of #FantasyTwitter for his low YPC average he gets elite volume. The Chargers will feature an improved OL in 2018 after signing C Mike Pouncey from the Dolphins and a healthy Forrest Lamp.
19 22.712 Stefon Diggs Vikings 24 A healthy Stefon Diggs now paired with Kirk Cousins for a few more seasons is a great fantasy value. In 2017 Diggs scored five more receiving touchdowns than in 2016 and did this on nearly 20 fewer receptions and targets from the previous season. Believe
20 14.432 Le'Veon Bell Steelers 26 In 62 career games since being drafted in round two of the 2013 NFL draft, Bell has tallied 7,996 yards from scrimmage in 62 career games. That is an average of 129 yards per game. Worried about workload after 321 carries in 2017 and 1229 over career.
21 29.432 Devonta Freeman Falcons 26 A healthy Tevin Coleman continues to eat into Freeman’s workload. Freeman went from 73 receptions in 2015 to 54 catches in 2016 and only 36 receptions in 2017. This timeshare limits Freeman from the high-end workload of the top backs. A string of concussi
22 18.572 Dalvin Cook Vikings 23 Cook will be 11 months post-injury when the season starts. Rank could fluctuate as the season nears but looking at a young three-down bell cow type back in a terrific offense.
23 18.432 Christian McCaffrey Panthers 22 Christian McCaffrey put on more weight coming into 2018 expecting more carries in the Panthers offense. Adding in more volume in the run game with McCaffrey’s role in the passing game give him big time upside for an incredibly talented RB. He gets WR targ
24 21.712 Joe Mixon Bengals 22 Mixon was a major disappointment in 2018 but has cut weight down to 225lbs from 240lbs. I see Mixon as having a Le’Veon Bell type career. He is a three-down back running behind an improved Bengals OL.
25 26.432 JuJu Smith-Schuster Steelers 21 Missed two games with injury and didn’t get many snaps early in 2017. JuJu was still over 900 yards receiving with a massive 73.4% catch rate. Has a high ceiling but tough to compete with Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell and rookie James Washington for targets
26 25.002 Travis Kelce Chiefs 28 Travis “ZEUS” Kelce finally topped the tight end position in fantasy for owners in 2017. Now add in a rookie tight end who we figure will target him often and the sky is the limit for Kelce. While he might not get quite the target share as in 2017 the opp
27 28.292 Rob Gronkowski Patriots 29 Only Hunter Henry was better than Gronk on a per targets basis. With Ertz and Kelce climbing the ranks and Gronk constantly dealing with injuries the sun might be setting on the Gronk empire. He’s still worth it in the TE wasteland but be careful and aim
28 28.432 Brandin Cooks Rams 24 Brady, Brees, and Goff. These are the quarterbacks that will have been throwing Brandin Cooks the ball over his career. A full offseason of work in the high flying Rams system should benefit Cooks more than the last minute trade of Watkins last season. Li
Tier 3
29 32.293 Amari Cooper Raiders 24 Amari Cooper has been difficult to own in fantasy. He has flashed tantalizing potential with frustrating inconsistently. A healthy Derek Carr and a full season of health from Cooper in 2017 should finally help Cooper reach the ranks of WR1s in fantasy.
30 34.433 Zach Ertz Eagles 27 Did you know that Zach Ertz has had three straight seasons with more receptions than Gronk? Very healthy over his career and with an elite QB in Wentz we should see more and more of Ertz atop the leaderboard at the position.
31 29.713 Allen Robinson Bears 25 Allen Robinson is freed from the shackles of the immortal Blake Bortles. Robinson posted a stellar 1400 yard and 14 TD season in 2015 followed that with a WR29 season and then missed all of 2017 with an injury. While the game script might not be inline wi
32 35.433 Corey Davis Titans 23 After a terribly inefficient where Davis was spent most of the 2017 offseason dealing with injuries he has glowing reports coming into 2018. He finished 2017 with a great playoff performance and in the Titans new offense paired with Mariota should be on t
33 65.433 Jerick McKinnon 49ers 26 A former option QB coming out of college McKinnon has flashed high upside potential in limited opportunities. The 49ers paid him big money and expected to see a bulk of the work. Look at past RB success in the coaching staffs systems.
34 30.293 T.Y. Hilton Colts 28 A lousy 2017 with Jacoby Brissett but talk is that Andrew Luck will return. Hilton was a top fantasy option at the position when Luck was still on the field so there is a big upside for Hilton.
35 28.003 Adam Thielen Vikings 28 The offense has changed in Minnesota as Pat Shurmur headed to NY. While there could be a drop in volume we can expect an increase in efficiency with Kirk Cousins coming to the Vikings.
36 52.713 Nick Chubb Browns 22 One of the best running backs in the 2017 draft class. An injury took away the burst of RB that was once on par and above Todd Gurley. Getting close to that level the past year.
37 29.293 Jarvis Landry Browns 25 -
38 53.003 Aaron Rodgers Packers 34 The top QB in the NFL is still surrounded by top shelf talent in 2018 and beyond.
39 51.433 Russell Wilson Seahawks 29 The OL should be improved in 2018 but the receiving weapons around Wilson took a step back in 2018.
40 54.143 Carson Wentz Eagles 25 One of the top young QBs in the game with a great coaching staff, OL and weapons around him.
41 56.433 Sony Michel Patriots 23 The Patriots just took a RB in round one. Look at what Dion Lewis did in 2017 and know that Michel is a better talent.
42 38.293 Jordan Howard Bears 23 Always consistent. Not a top level talent but a solid contributor. New HC might be introducing more shotgun formation where Howard excelled out of.
43 47.143 Derrius Guice Redskins 21 Guice will be the main back in Washington, but not in 2018. Guice is a transcendent talent and teams are going to regret passing on him. He could be a fringe RB1 if given a Jordan Howard like workload.
Tier 4
44 40.434 Doug Baldwin Seahawks 30 Slightly worried about early talk about Baldwin dealing with an inj. High upside in 2018 with a bad Seahawks DEF and loads of vacated targets with Graham and Richardson gone.
45 57.864 Sammy Watkins Chiefs 25 -
46 49.574 Derrick Henry Titans 24 -
47 48.714 Alshon Jeffery Eagles 28 Impressed in the playoffs but posted less than 800 receiving yards and extensive past soft tissue injury history. Let your other league mates pay for Alshon and target the other guys around his ADP.

Rob Willette - Dynasty Offense Top 200 - Last updated: 9/21

Rank Avg Tier Name Team Age Comments
1 2.711 Todd Gurley Rams 24 All hail McVay, who has turned Gurley into modern day Tomlinson. Great back on a great offense is no-brainer elite asset.
2 1.571 Odell Beckham Giants 25 Elite confluence of talent/production/situation. Has the tools to produce even with a declining Eli.
3 9.431 Alvin Kamara Saints 22 His receiving prowess gives him an incredibly high floor to go along with an unlimited ceiling. He has done this for over a year now. Time to place him with the elite.
4 2.141 DeAndre Hopkins Texans 26 As the situation evolves around him, Hopkins is unfazed and continues to produce.
5 6.001 Antonio Brown Steelers 30 I feel his game ages incredibly well and I am not looking too far ahead in dynasty leagues. An absolute production machine with plenty of years ahead of him.
6 8.291 Saquon Barkley Giants 21 Despite the Giants being a mess, Barkley sets a stable floor with receiving prowess. You have to imagine fixing the offense is top priority. Saquon's value should remain near the top for years.
7 5.431 Ezekiel Elliott Cowboys 23 Perhaps fantasy's most consistent back, Elliott continues to post numbers despite Dallas' offensive woes. A safe investment.
8 7.001 Michael Thomas Saints 25 Another Saint entering the elite tier. While the target share will inevitable drop at some point, the routine production is now hard to ignore.

44 56.436 Sony Michel Patriots 23 Injury this preseason actually offers a nice little discount. I do not believe BB and company spent a first on Michel to let him languish in a James White role. He's got the chops to consolidate the Patriot backfield into a committee of one.

TJ Calkins - Dynasty Offense Top 200 - Last updated: 9/19

Rank Avg Tier Name Team Age Comments
1 2.141 DeAndre Hopkins Texans 26 Him being tied to Watson going forward makes him the easy 1.01
2 2.711 Todd Gurley Rams 24 Regime change could be just what the doctor ordered... update: it was
3 1.571 Odell Beckham Giants 25 Only loses top spot because of Nuk, nothing to do with OBJ, injury considered
4 5.431 Ezekiel Elliott Cowboys 23 Just a tick behind Gurley for top back to own
5 7.001 Michael Thomas Saints 25 Solidified an amazing floor and median player. Likely to never have the highest of high ceilings.
6 8.291 Saquon Barkley Giants 21 Nothing left to say on the prospect, landing spot is meh
7 18.431 Christian McCaffrey Panthers 22 Target hog and will remain as such, probably sees an uptick in carries as well. A better player than Kamara and potentally a better role
8 16.571 Tyreek Hill Chiefs 24 Proven matchup proof and effective. Volume growth could see him into the first round
9 18.861 Melvin Gordon Chargers 25 Do not sleep on this elite role
10 9.431 Alvin Kamara Saints 22 So much better than expected, making great use of elite landing spot. Believe '17 is the ceiling, however it's quite repeatable
11 8.431 David Johnson Cardinals 26 He was an age worry entering the league, Turns 27 in season, but production should not remotely be an issue
12 14.431 Le'Veon Bell Steelers 26 Heading into age 26 season. Not impossible the best is yet to come.
13 6.001 Antonio Brown Steelers 30 On even footing with Nuk for production, just getting longer in the tooth, is quietly 30
14 21.711 Joe Mixon Bengals 22 All the narratives against have been busted and faces little competition for touches. Could find himself in the company of Bell and DJ soon, line is a real issue
15 14.711 Kareem Hunt Chiefs 23 The beginning of '17 is the ceiling, but its a mammoth ceiling
16 15.571 Davante Adams Packers 25 Should be locked into alpha role with Rodgers. The situation is much better than the player but the situation is perfect
17 11.861 Keenan Allen Chargers 26 Hard to imagine him not taking at least a slight volume hit with Williams stepping in healthy. Keenan's own health is always a question
18 13.141 Julio Jones Falcons 29 Volume is becoming a concern. Being tied to Ryan is a negative
19 29.711 Allen Robinson Bears 25 Chi wasn't the absolute ideal landing spot, but it was a good one. No limit to the volume he could see
20 11.141 Mike Evans Buccaneers 25 Worry '16 was his peak. Volume safety can't be understated though... Update '16 was his absolute peak
21 18.571 Dalvin Cook Vikings 23 Will return as feature back in '18... dependent on staff allowing it and not handling him with kid gloves
22 25.001 Travis Kelce Chiefs 28 Dominant and the best of the TE roles
23 29.291 Jarvis Landry Browns 25 He will never be a YPC guy. Just accept that and enjoy
24 19.711 Leonard Fournette Jaguars 23 Seems destined to always be dinged up and likely never sees heavy passing game usage
