In dynasty there’s nothing quite like an underdog story, a disappointment becoming a success, taking advantage of a second chance (or more) to deliver in fantasy. Over the years there have been a number of retribution stories, from Geno Smith to Baker Mayfield and in 2024 the success story of current QB8 in fantasy points per game (FPPG) Sam Darnold. Even this season we saw disappointing young dynasty assets like Anthony Richardson and Bryce Young lose their starting jobs, suffer a huge loss in dynasty value, only to regain their starting job. The break from the starting lineup aided their development, with a more positive dynasty outlook and a strong possibility they remain starters for their franchise in 2025.
