The Dynasty Aftermath: People Mike Tyson could Knock Out
Welcome to DLF’s Dynasty Aftermath. This staple article is our longest running signature piece as we have a little fun after a tough week at the Dynasty League Football office. You’ll find this article will review the week’s happenings in a variety of ways and help set you up for the coming weeks as we spin around the league in the way we know best. Expect it each and every week. I’ve written this column for the past eighteen years (I cannot believe I just typed that) and I love it . I enjoy combing through the stats of the week on Monday night, putting together ridiculous lineups, picking MVPs/LVPs and discussing things to worry about.
That’s not all. I also really love sharing observations, little bits of entertainment or some stories with the community of DLF and picking a theme for this column each week. You really never know what you’re going to get.
We were all witnesses to the return of Mike Tyson last week and it was, well, disappointing. We really shouldn’t be shocked but we also remember this man below:
With that in mind, here are ten people I think Mike Tyson could knock out now, even at his age in a boxing match.
1.) Any of the living Golden Girls (if there are any)
2.) William Shatner
3.) Charles Barkley
4.) Sylvester Stallone
5.) Jimmy Carter
6.) Willie Nelson
7.) Keith Richards
8.) Mick Jagger
9.) Carol Burnett
10.) Bob Dylan
So, it’s not that bad. Here’s also a list of players I think may be reaching Mike Tyson-level in their NFL careers.
1.) Aaron Rodgers
2.) Ezekiel Elliott
3.) Joe Flacco
4.) Marcedes Lewis
5.) Dalvin Cook
Let’s get to it…
Fantasy MVP of the Week
Sure, why not. Taysom Hill reminded everyone that he can be the biggest difference maker in fantasy football with another epic performance that featured 138 rushing yards, eight catches, 50 receiving yards, and three touchdowns. He did throw an interception, but dynasty managers won’t care. If his usage rate looks like this moving forward, he’ll decide the fate of countless fantasy leagues.
Fantasy LVP of the Week
Having Kyle Pitts on your roster is just maddening. After posting four straight solid games, Pitts has now scored in single-digits in each of his last three, with a massive clunker this week that featured one catch for nine yards. At this point, I honestly don’t even know what to say.

Gut Checks
I’d be worried if I was underestimating Joe Mixon.
I’d be worried if I was starting Jaylen Waddle.
I’d be worried if I didn’t cash out on Kareem Hunt.
I’d be worried if I missed out on Bo Nix?
I’d be worried if I didn’t draft Brock Bowers.
I’d be worried if I was underestimating the greatness of Amon-Ra St. Brown.
I’d be worried if I was ignoring Courtland Sutton.
I’d be worried if I wasn’t a little disappointed in Kenneth Walker.
I’d be worried if I needed consistency from DeVonta Smith.
I’d be worried if I needed vintage Christian McCaffrey right now.
I’d be worried if I was playing against Taysom Hill.
I’d be worried if I thought Tyler Lockett was still viable.
I’d be worried if I wasn’t a little concerned with the drop-off from CJ Stroud.
I’d be worried if I needed a lot from Aaron Jones right now.
I’d be worried if I was still starting Deebo Samuel.
I’d be worried if I was building around Kirk Cousins.
I’d be worried if I was ignoring David Montgomery.
I’d be worried if I wasn’t paying attention to Ladd McConkey.
I’d be worried if I needed RB1 numbers from Jonathan Taylor.
I’d be worried if I thought Jerry Jeudy was back.
I’d be worried if I needed Jake Ferguson soon.
I’d be worried if I thought Terry McLaurin was untouchable.
I’d be worried if I wasn’t impressed with Tee Higgins.
I’d be worried if I was still holding out hope for Romeo Doubs.
I’d be worried if I was hesitating on starting George Pickens.
I’d be worried if I knew what Green Bay receiver to actually start.
I’d be worried if I was still starting Aaron Rodgers.

Always check our latest rankings to see the updates throughout the week. These rankings are simply my own.

He’ll move down the list this week if he doesn’t comment on this.
2.) Brock Bowers, TE LV
I honestly don’t think this is crazy.
3.) Marvin Harrison Jr WR ARI

Who’s going to throw to him long-term?
5.) Brian Thomas, WR JAX
Still solid.
6.) Rome Odunze, WR CHI
Meh so far.
7.) Jayden Daniels, QB WAS
Still love him.
