Adams will immediately become the best receiver on the open market and will have control over choosing who he'll play for next season. He's rumored to be interested in playing on the West Coast, with teams like the 49ers, Rams, and Chargers on his list. He'll also likely wait to see just what happens with Aaron Rodgers before making a choice. He's still a productive player and should still be a WR1/2 next season, regardless of where he lands and his dynasty value shouldn't crater too much with this move. On the plus side, you may be able to return those Davante Adams Jets jerseys.

The former Fresno State star got his first real taste of free agency after being let go by the Jets and was rumored to want to stay on the West Coast. This landing spot fits the bill as he's now call Los Angeles his home for the foreseeable future. Adams showed he still has a lot of juice left as he posted an 85/1,063/8 season between the Raiders and Jets last year, his fifth straight 1,000-yard campaign. He may find the sledding a little tougher in LA as this will be the first time he's clearly the WR2 on his own team as Puka Nacua is going to be the clear-cut top option in the offense. Adams should be able to post WR2 numbers if he remains healthy but it really does look like his days as an elite-level WR1 are all but over.

The Jets have already moved on from Rodgers and it seems they're ready to do the same with Adams, despite him being much more productive. The most recent report ties Rodgers and Adams together with the Rams in a post-Matt Stafford scenario. It's all just talk at this time, but it does seem like the fate of these two may really be tied together, despite Rodgers having little-to-no leverage left based on his value. As for Adams, he should be a viable WR2 next year as his WR1 days could be over.

It's hard to see Adams being a huge difference maker the rest of the way and while he could be a target for dynasty managers who are contending, he's also one poised to disappoint each and every one of them.
