Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye completed 15-of-25 passes for 184 yards with one touchdown and one interception in a win against Chicago.
Oddly enough, Maye didn't have to do too much against a Bears team that looks like they're stuck in molasses at the moment. For his part, Maye did make some plays here and there but also simply minimized mistakes. He's certainly had some bright spots this year and while today won't light up the fantasy scoreboard, it looks like he's a future QB2 in dynasty leagues at worst.

Patriots quarterback Drake Maye completed 29-of-41 passes for 206 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions in an overtime loss to Tennessee.
Maye added a whopping 95 rushing yards on the day, the most by a New England quarterback since the 1970s. He also had a game-tying miracle touchdown pass at the end of regulation, but New England eventually fell in overtime. Maye still has room to grow, but you can tell he has real talent and finally looks like the long-term answer the Patriots have been looking for since Tom Brady left town. Maye's dynasty value is on the rise.

Patriots quarterback Drake Maye left the Patriots win against the Jets early with concussion-like symptoms.
Maye completed just 3-of-6 passes for 23 yards before leaving, though he did add 46 yards and a touchdown on the ground. New England was still able to salvage the win without him, but he'll be needed back quickly if they want to have any kind of chance to make an extended run at a wild card playoff spot this season. Maye will likely enter concussion protocol, so the impressive young rookie's progress will be monitored this week. He remains a solid QB2 in dynasty leagues.

Patriots quarterback Drake Maye completed 26-of-37 passes for 276 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in a loss against Jacksonville.
He added 18 rushing yards, which actually tied for the team lead. The fact Maye didn't turn the ball over in this one despite being under siege the entire game is a modern miracle. While the stat line isn't something that blows you away, anyone who has watched him play over the past couple of games has to believe the Patriots have clearly found their quarterback of the future. Maye's dynasty stock is on the rise.

Patriots quarterback Drake Maye completed 20-of-33 passes for 243 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in his first career start.
Maye certainly made some mistakes in this one, but he threw for more touchdowns in this one (three) than Jaboby Brissett had in five games (2). While Maye has a long way to go, anyone who watched this game would tell you Maye simply looks like a better option. The Patriots are looking at a lost season but Maye should have a chance to provide QB2 value the rest of the way.

The Patriots are starting quarterback Drake Maye this week.
The Patriots chose to start the season with Jacoby Brissett at the helm and the results turned out to be about as expected. New England is 1-4 and have a real chance of seeing their season spiral out of control, so they're turning to the rookie. It's a best-case scenario for Maye as he shouldn't be under too much pressure as the team has simply looked anemic. Still, there is a real lack of offensive talent on this team, so it's fair to wonder just how this is going to go. Maye's dynasty value should rise with some solid performances.

Drake Maye completed 6-of-11 passes for 47 yards in Thursday’s preseason game against the Eagles, adding four carries for 15 yards and a touchdown.
Maye's numbers don't really reflect how well he played. He looked calm in the pocket and had one significant deep pass dropped. After the game, Jerod Mayo said the competition between Maye and Jacoby Brissett isn't settled and that's significant news as Maye was not expected to be considered to start week one as of two weeks ago. Clearly making strides, Maye continues to be a solid top-5 pick in Superflex leagues.

Early reports are indicating Drake Maye will not be the opening day starter in New England.
New England is likely taking it slow with their new franchise quarterback as Jacoby Brissett took all the first team snaps in training camp. If anything, it seems Maye will need to earn the job through training camp. Regardless, his day is coming sooner rather than later and while there's still significant risk with him based on a poor supporting cast, he remains a solid dynasty asset moving forward.
