Browns running back Nick Chubb broke his foot in a loss to the Chiefs.
Brutal. After returning from a catastrophic leg injury, Chubb's season will end with an unimpressive 332 rushing yards and three touchdowns in eight games played. This latest injury may just seal his fate as the Browns could move on from him in the off-season, despite how much he has meant to the franchise and the community. Chubb has simply not looked the same this year and while he could recover fully from his ailments, he looks like a running back whose career could be on fumes. His dynasty value is going to sink like a rock this off-season.

Browns running back Nick Chubb rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns in a win against Pittsburgh.
Through five games, Chubb has 222 rushing yards and three touchdowns on just three yards per carry. It's clear he's not fully recovered from last season's gruesome injury and Cleveland has limited his touches as a result. Chubb may be better next season, but right now he's a touchdown-dependent player who has a pretty low weekly floor. His dynasty value is going to suffer until we see more, though this game was at least a step in the right direction.

Browns running back Nick Chubb had 50 rushing yards in a loss to the Saints.
Chubb had a good matchup on paper and posted a healthy 4.5 yards per carry on the day. However, a negative game script put him on the bench for most of the game as Jameis Winston threw the ball 46 times on the day. Chubb has been decent since returning, but the Browns offense just isn't one to rely on at the moment. He should be on dynasty benches for the time being.

Browns running back Nick Chubb had 39 rushing yards in a loss against the Chargers.
Chubb now has just 113 rushing yards and one touchdown on a putrid 2.7 yards per carry since returning from injury earlier this month. Defenses are doing their best to stop him, but it's fair to wonder if Chubb has lost a step at this point. We'll wait to truly assess his future value for a few more weeks, but he looks like a player you just can't start at the moment and one whose dynasty arrow is starting to really point down.

Browns running back Nick Chubb had 22 rushing yards, one catch, ten receiving yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Bengals.
Most importantly, Chubb entered and left the game healthy. The Browns are in the midst of a terrible season, sitting at 1-6 and having just likely lost their quarterback for the season. It was great to see Chubb back, but it's also fair to wonder just what he's going to be able to do if the Browns can't do something in the passing game. He'll remain a flex play moving forward, though it was encouraged to see him get 11 of the 16 running back carries.

The Browns have activated running back Nick Chubb.
Chubb will make his much-anticipated return in week seven against the Bengals. His presence will be a welcome one by a Browns team that's 1-5 and flailing miserably. Cleveland traded Amari Cooper this week and Deshaun Watson looks like an absolute shell of himself, so anything the Browns get from Chubb will be important. Dynasty managers should be cautious as his role is likely not going to be a huge one for a few weeks. Still, it will certainly be nice to see him back after last year's gruesome injury.

Browns running back Nick Chubb will start the season on the PUP list.
Chubb will miss at least the first four games of the 2024 season as a result. This is hardly a surprise after his awful knee injury during week two last year. Chubb's rehab is apparently ahead of schedule but he won't be ready until October at the earliest. Jerome Ford looks like the early season winner in the backfield but Chubb will be poised to take over upon his return. Chubb remains a possible buy low for a contender even with this news.

Browns running back Nick Chubb was selected as the second best running back by NFL executives in a recent ESPN poll.
Chubb was ranked as the second best running back in the NFL behind only Christian McCaffrey. He has a lot to prove this season as he attempts to return from a gruesome knee injury but time will tell if he can regain his form and justify this lofty ranking. From a dynasty value perspective, few players have the upside of Chubb and with a ranking of RB37, he seems like a worthy high-risk proposition for contending teams at the moment.
