The seemingly ever-growing popularity of fantasy football has caused leagues to expand and determine new and different ways to create a unique experience. Deep formats have demanded fantasy managers work to round out the back of their roster, looking for any path to relevance from players buried on the depth chart.
In this series, we will look at deep dynasty stashes from each team. The goal is to identify players who may not be rostered in your league, though many of you degenerates will likely scoff at some of these names as you point out they are unavailable in your 28-team, AFC North-only league.
Below we outline some stashes from each AFC team.
It feels as though Hill has been a Raven for decades, yet he is still only 26 years old, and may have his best opportunity to date in 2024. Derrick Henry is the clear lead runner in Baltimore, though it is fair to wonder if the Ravens make concerted efforts to keep him fresh as they play the long game as a team with Super Bowl aspirations.
With Keaton Mitchell on the mend, Hill stands as the clear backup, yet can be had around pick 200 in startup drafts. He is one injury away from a significant role within a strong offense and would be a must-have pickup if anything happened to Henry. Lamar Jackson’s unique ability to put pressure on a defense with his legs will keep most runners efficient with their touches, making Hill an asset even if he splits time due to his small frame. Hill has enough talent to succeed over the short term, and it is those types of players who can turn good rosters into great ones.
