Dynasty Losers from NFL Free Agency

John DiBari

With the overwhelming majority of the big-name, significant, free agent signings complete, it's a great time to look back at their respective landing spots and determine which signings negatively impacted the dynasty landscape. Imagine being more concerned with free agency moves in real life than fantasy football - couldn't be me.

This time of year between the college bowl games, the NFL playoffs, the senior bowl, the combine, free agency, and the draft is the most action-packed time in dynasty circles. Even with all that excitement, there is always a black cloud lurking overhead, so let's see who free agency's biggest fallers are.

Quarterbacks

Justin Fields, PIT

The Bears held onto Fields just a little too long, resulting in him being traded to Pittsburgh for only a conditional sixth-round pick. The Steelers' job might not be awful long-term, as they've got next-to-nothing invested in Russell Wilson, and if Wilson looks like the Denver-version of Wilson we've seen over the last two seasons, Fields will probably get a shot this year. However, he is a massive faller in the eyes of many because most thought he was locked in to get a starting job somewhere. Now he's just another backup, while guys like Jarrett Stidham, Sam Darnold, and Garner Minshew are currently penciled in as week one starters.

Kenny Pickett, PHI
