DLF February 1QB ADP Takeaways

DLF recently completed the six February 1QB startup mocks, giving us a new ADP landscape, especially with the 2022 rookie class included. Of course, we’re already a bit into March, but I still wanted to look at this new data. Let’s jump into some of my main takeaways!

2022 Rookie Class Skepticism

Stunningly, the 2022 rookie class mainly went ignored in the ADP data.

As you can see, the first rookie didn’t go off the board until RB19 and 43.83 with Breece Hall. Of course, these mocks were pre-NFL Combine, where Hall turned in a monster performance. I fully believe he will enter the dynasty landscape as an RB1 in May’s startup mocks, and he may even be in RB1 range by March.

Additionally, rookies weren’t as popular in February’s data as they were in previous years. This year, only ten rookies went in the top-100 overall of ADP, lower than the last two years. There were 11 rookies in 2021’s February ADP and 13 in 2020s, just for comparison. This data also includes some players who will have wildly different values in March’s ADP, including risers like Kenneth Walker III and fallers like Kyren Williams.
