The Steelers have signed running back Trey Sermon.
Read moreI honestly thought we would head into week three, and things would settle down and return to normality. However, another week is in the books, and it felt like it only got wilder. So let's try to weave through the traffic and identify some players we could be acquiring or trading away.
Through three games, Fournette has been somewhat of a disappointment. Currently, the RB20 in PPR scoring, he hasn't returned what contenders would have been hoping to get from the veteran back. Many would have hoped he could build off his performance last season as the overall RB5 (despite missing two games) and help carry teams to titles.
Many of his struggles have been related to the Buccaneers' offense. Last season they averaged 29.9 points per game. This season they've averaged 17. Fewer points for the offense means fewer high-value touches for the running back. However, if my football-watching life has taught me one thing, it's to rely on a Tom Brady-led offense getting it together. I believe the Buccaneers will improve on offense once they get some healthy receivers on the field.
