Dynasty Statistical Edges: Week 11
If you follow me on Twitter, you’ve probably noticed a series of tweets I share on a weekly basis regarding player and team defensive performances, all from a fantasy lens. I’m going to be sharing some of that same information with you here.
I use this each week as I am making my own lineup and waiver wire decisions and thought you might find this valuable as well.
Note: The scoring system used for this data is always PPR with four points for passing touchdowns.

QB10 | Russell Wilson, DEN | 18.72 |
QB11 | Baker Mayfield, TB | 18.32 |
QB12 | Kyler Murray, ARI | 17.26 |
The Cowboys passing game is on a tear and stayed hot in a demolition of the Giants. Dak Prescott outpaced all other quarterbacks on the week by nearly ten fantasy points and didn’t even play in the fourth quarter of the blowout. In his first start for the Vikings, Josh Dobbs impressed once again, setting a new career-high with 268 passing yards and notching his highest weekly fantasy finish ever.
Season-Long QB1s

QB1 | Josh Allen, BUF | 224.60 |
QB2 | Jalen Hurts, PHI | 205.48 |

QB10 | Tua Tagovailoa, MIA | 165.66 |
QB11 | Brock Purdy, SF | 161.86 |
QB12 | Jared Goff, DET | 159.38 |
Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert passed for four touchdowns for the fourth time in his career, but the first in over two years. That performance boosted him from last week’s QB8 rank up to the QB3 on the season. After five weeks of the season, Dak Prescott was the QB21 and had broken 15 fantasy points just once. Now he’s averaging nearly 30 fantasy points per game over the past four contests, pushing him up to the QB6 on the year. Fallers this week include Patrick Mahomes (QB3 to QB9), Tua Tagovailoa (QB5 to QB10) and the injured Kirk Cousins, who fell out of the top-twelve. He was replaced by Brock Purdy, the new QB11.

The Commanders lead the league with eight QB1 games allowed and are also giving up the second-most fantasy points to the position, over 25 per. Those numbers should look slightly better after this week as Washington faces a banged-up Tommy DeVito and the Giants. Even this juicy matchup is not enough to make DeVito worthy of a start. The Chargers are the only other team surrendering more than 25 points per position, which could get Packers signal caller Jordan Love back in fantasy lineups.
Other matchups to target in Week Eleven include the Bears (vs. Jared Goff), Jaguars (vs. Will Levis), Buccaneers (vs. Purdy) and Eagles (vs. Mahomes.)
The Ravens and Chiefs remain the only teams to allow just one QB1 performance on the season. They each face tough tests this week as Baltimore hosts Joe Burrow and the Bengals in the Week Eleven opener while Kansas City matches up with Jalen Hurts and the Eagles in this week’s potential Super Bowl preview. Neither of these quarterbacks can be benched but could be looking at below average fantasy production.
Three other teams are allowing less than 17 fantasy points per week to opposing quarterbacks, including the Browns (vs. Kenny Pickett), Packers (vs. Herbert) and Panthers (vs. Prescott.)
Running Backs

RB11 | Rachaad White, TB | 17.80 |
RB12 | David Montgomery, DET | 17.60 |
RB12 (Tied) | Bijan Robinson, ATL | 17.60 |
It was another wild week at the running back position. The Steelers and Lions each produced a pair of RB1 games while Brian Robinson used his receiving skills to finish as the RB1 on the week. Falcons coach Arthur Smith finally gave into the pressure, sort of, and gave rookie Bijan Robinson a heavy workload on his way to his fourth RB1 finish of the season, but his first since Week Four.

RB10 | D’Andre Swift, PHI | 130.00 |
RB11 | Zack Moss, IND | 128.00 |
RB12 | Derrick Henry, TEN | 125.68 |
The season-long running back list underwent some serious shakeup following Week Ten. Bijan Robinson joined the list, replacing Chiefs back Isiah Pacheco. Brian Robinson used his overall RB1 week to climb from RB12 to RB6 on the year. Kenneth Walker and Rachaad White were other gainers, while D’Andre Swift, Zack Moss and Derrick Henry moved down.

For more perspective, this week, I’ve included both RB1 and RB2 games. This should improve the matchup information as we seek the teams to target and avoid when setting our fantasy football lineups. The Cardinals top this list with a dozen top-24 games allowed and they are one of three teams to give up more than 27 fantasy points per game to opposing backfields. This means potentially another huge week for Devin Singletary and the Texans. The other teams giving it up to running backs are the Broncos (vs. Ty Chandler?) and Panthers (vs. Tony Pollard.)
Other teams to target when searching for running backs are the Seahawks (vs. Darrell Henderson/Royce Freeman), Texans (vs. James Conner) and Chargers (vs. Aaron Jones.)
The Eagles continue to be the toughest team against fantasy running backs, allowing just three top-24 games on the year. This might not be the week to rely on Pacheco on Monday Night Football. Other matchups to shy away from include the Browns (vs. Jaylen Warren/Najee Harris), Buccaneers (vs. Christian McCaffrey) and the Lions (vs. D’Onta Foreman).
Wide Receivers
Week 10 WR1s

WR10 | Tyler Boyd, CIN | 19.70 |
WR11 | Jayden Reed, GB | 19.40 |
WR12 | Tank Dell, HOU | 18.90 |
What is it about those Texas receivers? The Cowboys and Texans each placed a pair of receivers among the top-twelve scorers this week, as did the Bengals. With Nico Collins out of the lineup, breakout veteran Noah Brown had another monster performance. With the Texans expected to be fully healthy in Week Eleven, we should learn a lot about what that passing game will look like moving forward and if Brown can be trusted in fantasy lineups.

After his huge game in Week Ten, veteran Keenan Allen is now the WR2 on the season, overtaking bye-week receiver AJ Brown. The bad news is Allen is also banged up and not certain to play this week. Mike Evans moved into the WR1 range, replacing rookie Jordan Addison.

The Eagles have allowed the most top-24 games in the league to opposing wide receiver but the Chiefs have still not found a consistent threat at the position. I would lean towards using the rookie Rashee Rice in this game but it’s definitely not a safe play. Another pair of NFC East teams are next in line, having allowed eleven top-24 games and this week, the Giants and Commanders face off. Terry McLaurin obviously gets a boost, while Jahan Dotson is worth a shot. As with the quarterback DeVito, I wouldn’t be comfortable using Giants pass catchers even in this matchup.
Other teams to target when looking for fantasy receivers include the Buccaneers (vs. Brandon Aiyuk/Deebo Samuel), Chargers (vs. Christian Watson/Romeo Doubs), Steelers (vs. Amari Cooper) and the Titans (vs. Christian Kirk/Calvin Ridley.) Each of these teams is allowing 39+ fantasy points per game to opposing receiving corps.

TE10 | Brock Wright, DET | 10.30 |
TE11 | Cole Kmet, CHI | 9.60 |
TE12 | Tanner Hudson, CIN | 9.30 |
Coming in at less than 100% didn’t matter for Vikings tight end TJ Hockenson, who put together a monster first half against the Saints and then cruised to the overall TE1 spot. Hockenson finished with 134 yards and a score on eleven receptions. Trey McBride stayed hot as well and finished as the TE2 with over 130 receiving yards. McBride is flying up dynasty rankings with his breakout performance.

Current Cowboy Jake Ferguson (TE11 to TE9) and former Cowboy Dalton Schultz (TE9 to TE7) were two of the key risers over the past week. Both are reliable weekly starters moving forward. Jonnu Smith and Darren Waller fell from the TE1 ranks, replaced by Dalton Kincaid and Logan Thomas.

The Falcons and Bengals have allowed seven TE1 games on the season, the most in the league. While Atlanta gets the week off, the Bengals will be faced with slowing down Mark Andrews. Good luck! Others teams to target against tight ends are the Bears (vs. Sam LaPorta), Texans (vs. McBride), Commanders (vs. Daniel Bellinger) and Broncos (vs. Hockenson.)
The Bills are still perfect on the season in this category, yet to allow a TE1 game. This week, they face Tyler Conklin and the Jets. The Browns (vs. Pat Freiermuth?), Titans (vs. Evan Engram) and Steelers (vs. David Njoku) have been very tough against opposing tight ends. Expect below average production from these players this week.
