Brandon Aiyuk is an American football wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He played college football at Sierra College and Arizona State and was drafted by the 49ers in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Brandon Aiyuk produced 129 yards and two touchdowns on 8-of-8 targets during the team's drubbing of the Steelers in week one.
The 49ers found success in every phase of the game and Aiyuk scored in the first and second quarters. His success is a continuation of the theme and narrative from this offseason with everyone close to the team suggesting Aiyuk's breakout season was hear. With one of the most dynamic set of offensive playmakers in the NFL, there's reason to believe the passing attack will continue to work. Listed as DLF's WR24, Brandon Aiyuk's ranking should percolate higher in the coming weeks.

Brandon Aiyuk has remained a dominant force in training camp
There's arguably been no greater positive press at receiver than Aiyuk's performance this offseason. He's been uncoverable in camp and the 49ers are reportedly also working on stretching the field more - he has been successful there as well. Fellow receiver Deebo Samuel has also had a good camp but all eyes remain on Aiyuk. Should he carry-over his momentum into the regular season, there's significant upside to his DLF WR26 ranking.

Brandon Aiyuk continued his momentum all spring and was the 49ers best player on the field
Aiyuk even received praise from Deebo Samuel who said: "you can't cover that boy in a phone booth." Earlier this spring, cornerback teammate Deommodor Lenoir suggested Aiyuk will be a "top five" receiver in 2023. There's little question the fourth-year receiver is poised to have a big year in 2024, following his first 1,000-yard campaign in 2023 but the 49ers will need to have quarterback consistency for that to occur and, at this juncture, it remains unclear if 2023 riser Brock Purdy will be healthy enough to be under-center in week one. Still found as a WR3 on DLF's receiver rankings, there's potential value-on upside to his current WR27 status.

Brandon Aiyuk was the best player on the field during spring practices
He continues to draw rave reviews from players and coaches with cornerback Deommodore Lenoir suggesting Aiyuk will be a top-five receiver in 2023. Entering his fourth year, the receiver has improved his statistical production each year previous, culminating into a 78/1,015/8 line in 2022, his first 1,000-yard campaign. Listed as DLF's WR29, Aiyuk's WR3 status provides value-on upside and he'll player the entirety of the 2023 season at just 25-years-old.

The 49ers have picked up the fifth-year option on wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk.
There was a point in time where this day seemed awful unlikely. However, Aiyuk posted a career best season last year with a 78/1,015/8 line, despite a revolving door at the quarterback position. The 49ers are more than content with Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel as their top two targets and Aiyuk has some room to grow when the 49ers finally settle on a franchise signal caller. Aiyuk is a solid WR2 as our overall WR27 on the big board.
