It has been my experience that most new SF leagues take awhile to realize the value of QBs. Some members in mine took until the offseason between yr 2 and 3 to shake the 1QB redraft mentality, preferring to fill their SF spot with another RB or WR. If you can hold out until then, you still may get value for an extra capital you have at the position. And I like to keep 3 good options at the position to mitigate bye weeks and injuries.
I agree it may be wise this draft to go with your league mates and let QBs fall a little, especially due to early reports about the strength of the class. But later in the 1st and in the 2nd, I usually give the tie breaker to a QB prospect in that format.
