Ty Chandler had 41 rushing yards and added four catches for another 29 yards in Minnesota's preseason opener against Seattle.
Chandler's 15 touches led Minnesota by a mile and he looked solid against mostly second stringers on the night. With Alexander Mattison sitting out, Chandler did a decent job of making his case to be the RB2 for the Twin Cities. His performance over the next three weeks will be a solid story to watch as dynasty managers round out their rosters with sleepers.

Speaking on running back Ty Chandler, Vikings offensive coordinator Wes Phillips said: "I think he's going to have to be."
All Minnesota backs have moved up following Dalvin Cook's release and Alexander Mattison is the clear RB1. Following Mattison, it's presumed Chandler factors as the RB2 though is largely unproven as a 2022 fifth-round selection. 2023 draftee Dewayne McBride was selected in the seventh round and profiles well as an early-down chains mover but only produced five receptions in his time at UAB. As for Chandler, his shifty profile could provide third-down opportunities and have upside should Mattison fall to injury. Already 25, Chandler is behind the age curve for dynasty production and is listed as DLF's RB76.
