Dynasty Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week Ten

In case you are reading this, there is one bit of information to know before you start reading names. Just like last year’s series, we will be utilizing player rostership percentages, courtesy of real dynasty rosters from 1,700 MFL leagues. While this may not be entirely accurate for every individual league, it is very reflective of how managers view who is worthy or not of a roster spot. Now that that’s covered, let’s dive into the waiver wire after week nine!

Keaton Mitchell, RB BAL
Perhaps the biggest waiver wire pick up of the week, Mitchell splashed onto the scene for the Baltimore Ravens in a big way: nine carries, 138 yards, and a touchdown. For those who don’t know, Mitchell was an undrafted rookie out of East Carolina and was insanely productive in his last two seasons in college, totaling over 3,000 rushing yards and 23 rushing touchdowns, plus another 500 yards and two touchdowns through the air. He also ran a 4.37 at the NFL Combine and posted a 38” vertical. He is essentially a generic version of De'Von Achane, which easily makes him the most explosive back in this Ravens backfield.
If he continues to show that he is the best running back in this backfield, it’s only a matter of time before Harbaugh starts giving him more work, especially if he’s rattling off huge plays like he was against Seattle. Gus Edwards will still be involved as the grinder and goal line guy, but Mitchell can easily fade Justice Hill out and become the RB1b in this offense, similar to Achane with Raheem Mostert or Jahmyr Gibbs with David Montgomery. He is a spend-it-all 100% FAAB pickup if he’s still available.
