Running back Najee Harris produced 86 yards on 17 carries in the Steelers' victory over Atlanta in week 13.
The Steelers have quietly won three of four and Harris has looked like his old self with the ball in his hands, though reception volume remains muted. Over his past four games, he's produced 310 yards and three touchdowns on 67 carries, good for a 4.6 ypc. average. With many off the Harris bandwagon citing similarities to mega-bust Trent Richardson, it's now beginning to appear as though that overlay may be inaccurate and, instead, simply be due to a team struggling to find its footing after the retirement of Ben Roethlisberger. In any event, Najee Harris is found as DLF's RB13 and remains a battleground acquisition target.

Najee Harris produced 99 yards on 20 carries and did not have a reception in the team's week ten victory over the Saints.
A trending story of week ten never materialized as Harris continued to work as the starter but has ceded down-and-distance work to rookie Jaylen Warren. Additionally, for he first time, arguably all season, Harris looked much more like his 2021 self, perhaps rounding into form after nagging injury limited his production in the first half of 2022. While Warren is certain to factor going forward, perhaps Harris' week ten performance will be enough to stop his descent in dynasty. He's now found as a wide ranging RB12 on DLF's running back rankings.

With news rookie running back Jaylen Warren is slated to see an expanded role going forward, Najee Harris' dynasty value is plummeting.
There's a lot of ways to peel this onion. On one hand, Harris likely didn't get bad at football in 2022 after solid 2021 season. At the same time, Pittsburgh's offensive line leaves a lot to be desired, currently ranked 30th in effectiveness by PFF. In any case, Warren has shown to be more productive while Harris has looked slow, plodding and indecisive, perhaps due to injury. Regardless of the root cause, Harris's dynasty value continues to drop precipitously and he's now listed as a wide-ranging RB12 on DLF's running back rankings. His slide should continue in the coming weeks, perhaps setting up a risk-on buy-low opportunity for dynasty coaches who believe Harris' situation will resolve itself into 2023.

Steelers' sophomore running back Najee Harris continues to struggle
Operating as one of the NFL true RB1's within his offense, Harris has only managed 202 yards through four weeks on 58 attempts, good for a concerning 3.5 ypc. average. He has a pair of touchdowns on the season, including one as a receiver. More concerning still is his lack of usage in the passing game, logging zero targets in the team's week four loss despite a season-high 48 snaps. The team's moves to rookie Kenny Pickett under center will certainly put more pressure on Harris as opposing defenses will look to stack the box, forcing Pickett to win through the air behind an already suspect offensive line. As for Harris, DLF's RB4, while there's no doubting his role, there's plenty of reason to doubt his future production until the offense proves it can move the ball through the air with the rookie under-center. Better days are likely ahead for Harris but how far ahead is anyone's guess.

Najee Harris had 74 yards rushing with no catches in Pittsburgh's surprising loss to the New York Jets on Sunday.
Harris is seeing some massive defensive attention this season with Pittsburgh's unsettled quarterback situation. Regardless, he now has just 58 carries for 202 rushing yards with ten catches for another 48 yards and just two touchdowns on the season. The first month of the season has been an unmitigated disaster for Pittsburgh and today was no different. With Kenny Pickett seeing time now, perhaps things will turn around. Harris remains a top dynasty asset as our RB5, but we're going to need to see more here very soon for him to keep that lofty status.
