Josh Downs produced 72 scoreless yards on 7-of-9 receiving in the team's loss to the Saints in week eight
Downs has surged in recent weeks as he tries to break the mold for undersized slot specialists in the NFL. The rookie didn't score in week eight following touchdowns in weeks six and seven, but he continued to garner looks from backup quarterback Gardner Minshew. He's averaged over seven targets over his past four games. Found as DLF's WR48, Josh Downs will look to continue his productive ways in the second-half of the 2023 season, establishing himself as a near every-down player with the hope of retaining the role when Anthony Richardson returns to under-center in 2024.
