Taking advantage of potential valuation trends in the trade market is imperative. That is even more true during the season when players can experience wild valuation changes on a week-to-week basis. Each week, I will be highlighting some players you should be looking to move or acquire and the reasons why.

Buy - Matthew Stafford, QB LAR

Through two weeks, the Rams' offense has been one of the biggest surprises, and the impressive play of Stafford has primarily led that. He has looked fantastic and has produced impressive passing numbers. However, despite 93 passing attempts for 641 yards, he has thrown for only one touchdown. The NFL average so far this season is 1.48 passing touchdowns for every rushing touchdown. The Rams are averaging 0.25 passing touchdowns for every rushing touchdown.

Regression is coming, and Stafford will absolutely be passing for more touchdowns moving forward. He is currently the QB22 in points so far this year; however, if you gave him one more touchdown per game, he would be the QB10. All of this is before he gets arguably the league's best wide receiver in Cooper Kupp back from injury. If you're a contending team in a superflex league and are looking for a QB3 to help you compete, he may be the perfect cheap option to get you there. Paying a future second-round pick for Stafford may be enough to get the deal done right now, given his points output.
