Nathaniel "Tank" Dell caught five passes for 145 yards and a touchdown in Houston's upset win against Jacksonville.
With 21 targets in just three games, it seems Dell has established himself as the top option in the Houston passing game. After a 7/72/1 game last week, this 5/145/1 performance should put the fantasy world on notice. While the sample size is still very small, Dell has likely put himself on the WR2 radar for next week and his ranking is going to continue its quick rise as a result.

Texans receiver Tank Dell had seven catches for 72 yards and a touchdown in the Texans loss against Indianapolis.
CJ Stroud is looking more comfortable by the day and the combination of Nico Collins and Tank Dell is looking formidable in fantasy and reality. Dell had another touchdown called back by a penalty so his line could have been even more impressive. With the Texans likely facing deficits nearly every week, his arrow is clearly pointing up and his ranking of WR77 is going to move up dramatically this week.

Texans rookie wide receiver Nathaniel "Tank" Dell caught five passes for 65 yards and one touchdown in the Texans preseason opener.
Any preseason performance needs to be taken with a grain of salt but this was a solid debut by any measure for the rookie third-rounder. There were (and still are) questions about Dell's level of collegiate competition at the University of Houston but this performance may quiet those for the moment. There's a long way to go for Dell to have early dynasty relevance but his ranking of 28th overall in our rookie rankings certainly looks justified or even represents a bargain at the moment.

The Houston Texans drafted Houston wide receiver Tank Dell in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
The Texans liked Dell well enough to take him in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, instantly making him a solid sleeper in the late rounds of dynasty league rookie drafts. Dell was an uber-productive receiver in college but is criminally undersized and looks like the definition of a "boom or bust" pick. On the plus side, Dell looks to be able to keep his apartment in Houston.
