Texans wide receiver Tank Dell fractured his fibula in the Texans win against the Broncos.
Dell had his leg rolled up on a goal line touchdown carry by Dameon Pierce early in the game. He stayed down as the rest of the Texans celebrated as the mood in the stadium went from excitement to concern in a hurry. After being carted to the locker room, it was determined he had a broken fibula and X-rays have reportedly confirmed it. He'll be lost for the season and placed on IR as his rookie season will end with 47 catches for 709 yards and seven touchdowns in ten games. It's a massive blow to dynasty managers who were counting on Dell as a WR1 the rest of the way. On the plus side, it's not a torn ACL or Achilles injury that could threaten his availability for the beginning of next season.

Texans rookie receiver Tank Dell had eight catches for 149 yards and a touchdown in the Texans win against Arizona.
Any questions? That makes nine games played for Dell in his rookie season and five of them that have yielded at least 19.9 fantasy points. He's also averaged nearly 25 ppg over the past three weeks, establishing himself as a weekly no-brainer in fantasy leagues. While he clearly benefited from Noah Brown missing the game this week, Dell has shown speed, explosiveness and playmaking ability that should stick in the long-term. His ranking of WR45 is going to up this week, likely dramatically.

Texans rookie wide receiver Tank Dell had six catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns in Houston's win against Tampa Bay.
His day was highlighted by catching the game winner with just six seconds to go. His year has been a little up and down as Dell has four games with less than ten fantasy points and three with more than 25, including this one. Regardless, he's established himself as one of the steals of the Summer and has the looks of a fantasy starter here soon. Expect his ranking of WR53 to jump up this week.

Tank Dell produced 16 yards on 3-of-4 receiving on his 24th birthday in the Texans week-eight loss to the Panthers
Dell had fantasy coaches dancing in the streets following his week three performance when he produced a 5/145/1 line, following his 7/72/1 line from week two. But now squarely on the radar in defensive schemes, the diminutive (5'10/165) receiver has totaled only seven receptions for 89 yards and no touchdowns over his past three games. It's a familiar plight for undersized slot-specialists in the NFL and few break the mold to become materially consistent producers. That said, Dell continues to have an unquestioned role on the Texans' rebuilt offense and should continue to garner targets from rising rookie quarterback, C.J. Stroud. Dell is listed as DLF's WR52.
