Monday Mocks: 2025 Rookies In A Dynasty Superflex Startup

Ryan McDowell

Welcome to Monday Mocks, where I’ll bring you…you guessed it, a new mock draft every Monday during the off-season. In my opinion, drafting is the best part of fantasy football, so I do as much of that as I can. This series will be filled with all types of mocks. We’ll draft startups, rookies, devys, and more.

The dynasty startup ADP was recently updated on our site, and for the first time, the 2025 rookie class is included. This is always valuable information, even if we don’t know the ultimate landing spot or the draft capital that will be used on each incoming rookie. Including these new players in our startup ADP offers an early glimpse at how they will be valued compared to current veterans. While not foolproof, it can offer some trade ideas when picks are involved, whether you’re a buyer or seller.

This week, we’ll focus on the top rookies included in our latest superflex dynasty startup ADP, comparing them to the veterans being valued in the same range.

1.01 – Ashton Jeanty, RB (RB5/33 overall)

TIER: Trey McBride, Marvin Harrison Jr., Trevor Lawrence, JEANTY, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Breece Hall, Brock Purdy

By almost any metric, Jeanty is an elite running back prospect, and he’s already being valued like that in our ADP data as well. Already a top-five dynasty back, per this data, Jeanty’s value could rise even more if he earns top-ten draft capital. Among the players in his ADP tier, the most notable is Hall, who has been steadily losing value after a lackluster season. For now, Jeanty has taken his place among the top-five dynasty backs.

1.02 – Tetairoa McMillan, WR (WR20/53)

TIER: Xavier Worthy, Terry McLaurin, Rome Odunze, MCMILLAN, Derrick Henry, Christian McCaffrey, DeVonta Smith

The buzz surrounding McMillan following the Combine was not ideal. He’s seemingly moving down draft boards and has fallen in rookie rankings as a result. Here, McMillan still comes off the board as the WR1 and second rookie drafted. Seeing the other wide receiver names in his same draft tier is a bit shocking. Deciding between McLaurin and the rookie could be difficult, depending on how you prefer to build your dynasty squad, but I would easily prefer Worthy, Odunze, or Smith to the former Arizona star, and I’m surprised he even showed up in the same tier as those wideouts.

1.03 – TreVeyon Henderson, RB (RB16/65)
