Read moreThe top 100 dynasty rookies for 2025 are here. Old foe Travis May traditionally filled this space, but he was pushed out this year. This is a list of the top 100 incoming NFL rookies I believe will be drafted and make a significant impact on fantasy football teams.
This is designed for the purposes of fantasy football, though many top fantasy performers are of course premier players by NFL standards as well. This is a combination of offensive and defensive players, and IDP players are bucketed as follows:
The scoring format assumed is Superflex (can start 2 QBs), PPR, and a balance between tackle-heavy and big-play (for the IDPs).
As this was originally Travis’ piece, however, you can still file complaints with his office. His X handle is @FF_TravisM. He is @travismay.bsky.social on BlueSky. His phone number is 615…
Without further ado, here is the very first Top 100 Dynasty Rookies for 2025.
Ashton Jeanty was a coveted devy prospect heading into 2024, but he took his game to the next level in his junior season. The Doak Walker Award winner ran for an absurd 2,601 yards and 29 scores, totals which would have landed him the Heisman Trophy in most years when he was not competing against a complete unicorn. The yardage total was the second-most ever in a single season behind Barry Sanders, and moved his career totals up to 40th all-time, tied with Nick Chubb.
Jeanty’s well-rounded skillset makes him a fit for any offense and his explosive ability in tight spaces is special. Combined with his elite running instincts, they make the Boise State star a workhorse from day one. While his receiving output took a dip in 2024, he is an established threat as a receiver, making him a back who will seldom leave the field.
Jeanty checks all the boxes. He has incredible production, plus athleticism, and extensive experience in the passing game. The confluence of skills makes him a strong 1.01 candidate, even in superflex leagues.
