Dynasty Injury Report: Week Nine

Kyle Trimble

Reaching the halfway point of the NFL season, we are finding out who the contenders and pretenders are. Fantasy-wise, several players have shot out of a cannon and have taken the fantasy season by storm while normally dependable players never really seemed to get their act together. Add in the injuries and this makes for an ever-exciting fantasy football season.

My name is Kyle Trimble, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, the other half of the injury analyst team here at Dynasty League Football. We are here each and every week to break down the latest injuries and provide perspective on how to navigate the pitfalls that are injuries.

The weekly injury roundup will be posted on Wednesdays to discuss injuries that just occurred. I would also encourage you to tune in to the DLF YouTube channel (make sure to subscribe!) to tune in to helpful content throughout the week.

Let’s start with injury updates as we enter week ten of the season.

Daniel Jones, QB NYG

Injury: Right ACL tear

Return to Play: 2024

Jones suffered a right ACL tear on a scramble in the pocket early in the second quarter on Sunday. This injury comes on the heels of his neck injury that cost him three games prior. Jones will undergo surgery to reconstruct the ACL and look to return in 2024. The Giants have been a mess all year with injuries and now are relying on rookie Tommy Devito and journeyman Matt Barkley after Tyrod Taylor was placed on IR. Grab anyone you can off the waiver wire, Devito and Barkley are too risky.

Dallas Goedert, TE PHI
