Wan'Dale Robinson could see big role · Jun 10, 2022
Giants rookie receiver Wan'Dale Robinson may have a significant role in the offense, even if he's not starting
At the same time, the term "gadget player" was used which will not elicit much excitement. Every year, undersized, hybrid or quick-twitch rookies are drafted in dynasty with the hope they'll transform their respective offenses and provide high-ceiling production potential. In most cases, these players fail to receive the volume to produce to those hopeful expectations. Recent examples such as Tavon Austin, Andy Isabella, Tutu Atwell, Rondale Moore, Lynn Bowden grace this list and while some, notably Moore, still have every opportunity to develop, few every make the leap. Robinson is 2022's rookie entry. As the Giants' second-round selection, the 5'11/185 lbs. hybrid player has enough size and dynamic to produce if provided the opportunity and few would argue the team is in dire need for playmakers. He's listed as DLF's WR62 and makes for an intriguing later-round rookie selection on the chance he's able to produce early in his career.
Wan'Dale Robinson will rotate · May 25, 2022
Giants rookie receiver Wan'Dale Robinson will be part of the receiver rotation immediately.
It's hard to read much into this as the team's second-round selection is assured a roster spot and the Giants are expected to run four and five-receiver sets to spread the field, meaning all active receivers would be in the rotation. Robinson's second-round status profiles more as a "fit" selection given what the Giants would like to do on offense rather than a high-volume starter, at least early in his career. At 5'11/185 lbs., there's upside with Robinson should he find a role and gain the trust of current starting quarterback Daniel Jones. He's listed as DLF's WR66.
Wan'Dale Robinson taken by the Giants · Apr 30, 2022
Kentucky wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson was drafted by the New York Giants.
Robinson moved all the way into the middle of the second round and was selected at pick #43 by the New York Giants. With aging veterans all over the roster, the Giants needed someone new to pair with Kadarius Toney. Robinson is a jack-of-all-trades and can be a serious weapon if a creative coach can find ways to get the ball to him. We'll see what happens and dynasty managers may need to exhibit some patience, but this landing spot and draft capital moves Robinson likely into the top of the second round in rookie drafts.

comment Robinson got all-important second round draft capital, and the Giants clearly have plans for him after bringing back Sterling Shepard at a reduced cost and after shopping Kadarius Toney. Robinson could be someone they scheme touches to early before he gets fully settled in. In any event, a good spot with ample opportunity.
comment I won't draft him but he's got quick twitch ability on a team that needs it
