D'Onta Foreman paces Carolina · Dec 24, 2022
D'Onta Foreman rushed for 165 yards and one touchdown in Carolina's upset win over Detroit.
Foreman's partner-in-crime, Chuba Hubbard, added 125 rushing yards of his own as Carolina ran for a whopping 320 yards on the day. It was a solid bounce-back performance for Foreman, who has been phased out of the game plan in several weeks with the Panthers finding themselves in catch-up mode. It's been a solid bounce-back year for Foreman, who has risen up to RB51 in our rankings. It will be interesting to see just where he ends up this off-season.
D'Onta Foreman tops 100 yards · Nov 11, 2022
Panthers' running back D'Onta Foreman topped 100 yards rushing for the third time in his last four games.
Foreman produced a season-high 130 yards and a touchdown across 31 carries but didn't have a reception. It was a positive script for Foreman on Thursday night though many chose to bench him after his week-nine dud. In his past four games, Foreman has produced 389 yards and four touchdowns. He's the clear volume starter for the Panthers and should continue to grace lineups with multiple questionable defenses on tap over the next five weeks. The 26-year-old, now found as DLF's RB58, remains a difficult valuation study but is clearly a sell-high candidate for any non-competitive 2022 dynasty team. The bigger question relates to his future as a 2023 free agent.
D'Onta Foreman explodes · Oct 31, 2022
Running back D'Onta Foreman scored three touchdowns in the Panthers' overtime loss to the Falcons in week weight
On the day, the big back produced 118 yards across 26 carries in addition to his three scores. Foreman isn't much of a receiving threat but owners benefitting from the outburst aren't complaining. The Panthers almost pulled off the unthinkable, narrowly missing back-to-back victories after losing starting quarterback Baker Mayfield to injury, trading receiver Robbie Anderson as well as running back Christian McCaffrey. Owner David Tepper had to be beside himself watching his "productive tanking" strategy go up in flames as it appeared the team would pull out a last-second victory; ultimately the Panthers fell short due to a poor penalty, missed extra point as well as a would-be game-winning field goal in OT. As for Foreman, it's hard to ignore what the 26-year-old did as the workhorse starter and with upcoming games against the Bengals, Falcons again and the Ravens, he's on the radar as a back-end RB2 starter. He's listed as DLF's RB62 and is a risk-on asset both for acquisition and distribution. Uncompetitive dynasty teams should consider selling Foreman on the heels of his week-eight outburst.
D'Onta Foreman productive · Oct 24, 2022
In the Panthers first game without Christian McCaffrey, D'Onta Foreman led all backs with 118 yards.
Both Foreman and Chuba Hubbard found success in the team's stunning victory over the Bucanneers. Foreman also chipped in with two receptions for 27 yards. He's a plus-sized (6'/235) back with tackle-breaking ability and has been productive in the past so there's reason to believe the Panthers will continue to lean on Foreman for the primary role though Hubbard is certain to factor as well. It's hard to know how to value either back, but Foreman, DLF's RB62, will surely have some in-season appeal for competitive teams though any value beyond 2022 will be difficult to project.
