Final Rookie Report Card: Wide Receivers, Part One

John DiBari

Throughout the 2024 season, the Rookie Report Card series covered 34 of this season's incoming rookie class. We looked at the performance to date, their potential for the rest of the season, and, of course, their long-term potential as dynasty assets. Now that we've wrapped up the regular season, it's time for final grades. We started with the quarterback class two weeks ago, looked at running backs last week, and now we're getting into a really strong receiver class. Due to the depth of the position, I've split this into a two-parter, so if someone is missing below, be sure to check back next week to see the rest of the class.

Marvin Harrison Jr, WR ARI

2024 stats: 62 receptions on 116 targets for 885 yards and eight touchdowns

Regular Season Rookie Report Card: Week 2

It wasn't that Harrison had a bad rookie season; he was WR33 and the 12th highest-scoring rookie; he just didn't meet the lofty expectations many people had for him. I didn't see the ceiling in Harrison that many others did, although I did think he was an extremely safe option with a very high floor. I suspect I was correct, and this is going to be the type of season we can expect from Harrison moving forward - and there's nothing wrong with that if you remove his rookie ADP and the hype surrounding him. He's probably going to be solid year-in, year-out WR2, and those are still very valuable for fantasy football.
