Ruggs could have scored on his 45 yard play though the pass was under-thrown and the speedster had to pull up to secure the reception, falling an inch short of the goal line. Ruggs would add two more receptions for 10 yards before giving the team a scare when he departed with what appeared to be a knee injury. He would return later in the game but didn't produce any further receptions. Ruggs' speed appears as advertised and it will take time for Derek Carr to adjust but Ruggs' game-changing dynamic, a welcome addition to an offense badly needing receivers. Ranked as DLF's WR34, Ruggs can continue to climb the rankings with continued production.
