Too bad. The 2022 free agent has been largely a frustrating fantasy bust and the Browns signed 2019 standout Austin Hooper as the unquestioned starter. Njoku's best chance for fantasy relevance was to don a new uniform in 2020. Instead, Njoku owners will have to wait for injury to Hooper before expecting any production from DLF's TE20. Njoku still carries a considerable premium for a player never eclipsing four touchdowns, though he did produce 639 yards on 56 receptions in 2018, still well short of expectations. Still only 24, David Njoku still has value as a developmental tight end for patient coaches.
