The dreaded Jones fracture has reared its ugly head yet again and this time it claims the promising second year wideout. Samuel will have surgery and will likely be out 3-4 months. This fracture is tricky as some have returned in as little as six weeks and others have had their entire seasons wiped out. At this point, it's fair to wonder if Samuel is destined for the PUP list to start the season, which would keep him out the first six games. Samuel is currently our WR24 and that is likely going to dip a bit with this news. Any extended absence would be big news for the likes of rookie Brandon Aiyuk, Kendrick Bourne and Jalen Hurd. Stay tuned.
