The performance won't impact Love's "fast-riser" status in fantasy as dynasty coaches seek the next Patrick Mahomes or Lamar Jackson but we hoped to see more toward creating further buzz. On the day, Love threw for 26 yards on 4-of-6 passing and rushed four times for four yards. Love is an intriguing prospect but clearly not the talent that both Mahomes and Jackson were coming out. That said, he's still in the mix for hearing his name called in the first round of the NFL Draft, many mocking him to the New England Patriots. Love followed a tremendous 2018 season with a notable dip in touchdown production and a large increase in interceptions. While still sporting a 61.9% completion percentage, he tallied a 20:17 touchdown to interception ratio following a 32:6 ration in 2018. The athletic-but-raw talent should remain a higher-risk, late-second round, selection in rookie dynasty drafts as coaches try to catch lightning in a bottle. Jordan Love is found as DLF's QB4 in our rookie quarterback rankings and could overtake Justin Herbert (QB3) prior to the draft.
