The Raiders continue to be linked to Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty.
Read moreThe annual Devy 100 is an exercise in identifying the best dynasty fantasy prospects within the college game. Given the sheer breadth of the project, it will fall short of a one hundred percent hit rate (independent outside sources have tabbed it at around 98.4 percent) yet can still be a valuable resource when embarking on a devy draft or identifying players to move or target via trade. Of course, you can always reference the full devy rankings at DLF as well.
The introduction of NIL into the college football space has made the devy ranks deeper than ever, with players often opting to stay an additional season to improve their draft stock and collect some cash while they do it. It led to some tough cuts, though NIL in conjunction with the portal has also helped raise the profile of some prospects who may have struggled to reach the national consciousness previously.

Profile: Of all the elite recruits the Alabama Crimson Tide have corralled in the recruiting service era, none stand above Keelon Russell. His .9997 rating helps him edge out Alabama legend and current Panther quarterback Bryce Young. While recruiting juice is no guarantee of collegiate success, it shows how highly regarded Russell is as he joins the program.
Already a premier prospect entering his senior year, Russell took the next step as a senior, winning the Elite 11 MVP before the season started and capping the run by being named football’s Gatorade Player oft the Year. A springy athlete, Russell looks to make plays from the pocket yet can devastate a defense with his legs. He can create havoc as a runner yet shows an uncanny ability to avoid big hits. He is a precision passer from the pocket, effortlessly distributing the football around the field as he calmly waits for the open receiver. At 6’3” and 182 pounds, he has a slight build, though he has ample time to get his weight up and add good mass to his frame. Russell has endless upside and is possibly the best quarterback prospect in a very good class.
2025 Outlook: Ty Simpson – once a highly touted recruit himself – has an inside track on the starting gig, though nothing is set in stone as the Tide look to replace Jalen Milroe. Russell could push for time early, even if he does not make many starts.
