2025 Dynasty Fantasy Football Rookie Profile: Jordan James, RB Oregon

Jordan James put up monster numbers in Oregon’s offense the last two seasons, both as a reserve to Bucky Irving and a workhorse. Will he be able to replicate Irving’s fantasy success or will James’s lack of burst hold him back at the next level?
James was the 13th-ranked running back in the 2022 recruiting class according to 247Sports. The four-star recruit ran for 1,653 yards and 24 touchdowns his senior year of high school on the way to a Tennessee state title. James committed to Oregon despite receiving offers from every major college football program in the country.

James struggled to find much playing time during his freshman season, but failing to usurp veteran backs like Bucky Irving and Noah Whittington at 18 shouldn’t be held against him. James was incredible the following season; he averaged 7.1 yards per carry and finished as Pro Football Focus’s #1-graded rusher for the 2023 season.
