The latest NFL Mock Draft on ESPN has Jaxson Dart going to the Rams with pick #26.
Read moreEven the most casual college football fan heard the hype around Cam Skattebo during the 2024 college football season. He was a dominating force who ran with fury and had a nose for the end zone. Combine that with a Cinderella run to the College Football Playoff for Arizona State and a name the broadcasters loved saying over and over and over again, and a star was born in Skattebo.

Skattebo played high school football for Rio Linda High School outside of Sacramento, California. He had a monster junior season, rushing for 3,550 yards and 42 touchdowns, but he didn’t receive much interest from the college levels. Sacramento State was the only Division 1 program to offer him a scholarship, so he enrolled to play with the Hornets.
After the Pandemic cancelled Sacramento State’s 2020 season, Skattebo made his debut as a freshman in 2021. He earned third-team all-Big Sky honors for that Freshman season, rushing for 520 yards and six touchdowns on 57 carries. He broke out in 2022, rushing for 1,382 yards and seven touchdowns. He was the Big Sky offensive player of the year and an FCS All-American. The Hornets made the FCS Playoffs as a two seed, but lost to Incarnate Word in the quarterfinals. In the loss, Skattebo ran for 101 yards and two touchdowns, adding another 76 yards through the air.
