The latest NFL Mock Draft on ESPN has Luther Burden going to Denver with pick #20.
Dynasty Analysis
The Broncos have been rumored to be in the market for a running back since letting Javonte Williams go in free agency but they also need help out wideout, so this pick could make some sense. Burden had an extremely disappointing season but much of that can be attributed to the lack of firepower surrounding him. Marvin Mims seems to be ascending and Courtland Sutton had a breakout year, but adding Burden certainly wouldn't hurt the prospects of Bo Nix. In the end, Burden still looks like a first round pick and this is a decent landing spot should it come to fruition.

The Chicago Bears drafted Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden with the 39th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Dynasty Analysis
It's a curious pick and one that really looks like a selection that's better in reality than fantasy. The Bears already have DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, D'Andre Swift and the newly drafted Colston Loveland to throw the ball to. Burden is ultra-talented but this landing spot may not help his dynasty stock much as he'll likely fall to the late first or early second round of most dynasty rookie drafts. #buzzkill.
Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden was not selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Dynasty Analysis
Burden saw Travis Hunter, Tetairoa McMillan, Matthew Golden and Emeka Egbuka all get their names called on the first night but didn't have his own phone ring. He should find a team in short order but the fact he fell out of the first round solidifies the idea NFL Scouts believe his massive drop-off in production this season wasn't entirely the fault of his quarterback or a poor offense. The longer Burden goes without a home, the more risk dynasty managers are going to have using a rookie pick for his services.
Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden was picked #12 overall in Mel Kiper's initial mock draft.
Dynasty Analysis
Burden only posted a 61/676/6 line this season after an 86/1,212/9 season last year. However, much of that simply wasn't his fault as Missouri's offense was a mess most of the season. He has elite level burst and athleticism and could be dynamic in the right offense. Dallas could be a great fit as he'd take some short area pressure off CeeDee Lamb. Regardless, Burden should be in the mix with Tetairoa McMillan to be the first wideout off the board in upcoming rookie drafts.
