Quarterback Sam Darnold avoided the franchise tag from Minnesota and will become a free agent.
Read moreThe 2025 NFL Scouting Combine is in the books. While the event itself can be more sizzle than steak – and we are not privy to key aspects such as medicals and interviews – there are actionable items. It is one of the last data points we have until draft capital and landing spot settle in. It is a good time to reassess rankings and consider any risers and fallers from the weekend in Indianapolis.
DLF will be posting a series of post-Combine rankings. Below is what the second round of a superflex draft may look like.
2.01 – Elic Ayomanor, WR Stanford
Measuring in at 6’2” and 206 pounds, Ayomanor ran a 4.44 forty, positioning him as a size and speed prospect who produced big numbers at Stanford despite still being early along the developmental curve at receiver. The redshirt sophomore from Alberta, Canada, is still a relative unknown yet may have made a move to be the WR5 after the big four of Tetairoa McMillan, Matthew Golden, Emeka Egbuka, and Luther Burden (five if you consider Travis Hunter a receiver). Ayomanor may have a relatively high chance of becoming a bust, but it is also not difficult to see him rapidly developing into a productive receiver given the baseline of tools he has to work with.
2.02 – Colston Loveland, TE Michigan
