Think of the season split into three: the first trimester all about understanding where your team is truly heading, the second trimester is all about battling through the bye weeks and setting yourself up for the the third trimester, where you achieve your dynasty goals of gaining the highest draft pick as possible or winning dynasty championships.
While it is preferential to do your business early in the season there are still opportunities to make deals in your dynasty leagues, as the rebuilders continue to dismantle, the mid-tier is either selling or buying depending on their trajectory or the contenders pushing the chips in for the championship run. As always, the most engaged teams making the most moves to improve their roster hold an advantage over the field.
