Dynasty Rookie Report Card: Xavier Worthy and Bucky Irving

John DiBari

Each week throughout the 2024 NFL season, I’ll cover two rookies in the Rookie Report Card and will generally write about the most prominent performers from that particular week. I’ll discuss how well he’s lived up to expectations at the NFL level and then grade the player in three categories: performance to date, rookie season potential, and long-term upside.

Xavier Worthy, WR KC

Week 4 stats: Three receptions on four targets for 73 yards and one touchdown.

With 15 targets through four games, Worthy has been relatively consistent in his usage thus far. He seemed to be locked in as the Chiefs’ WR2 from day one, but the loss of Rashee Rice looks to bump him into the team’s top receiver role going forward. With Rice out of action early in week four, Worthy saw his highest snap share of the season, resulting in the highest yardage total of his young career and his second receiving touchdown. He is now Kansas City’s WR1.
