In case you are reading this, there is one bit of information to know before you start reading names. Just like last year’s series, we will be utilizing player rostership percentages, courtesy of real dynasty rosters from 1,700 MFL leagues. While this may not be entirely accurate for every individual league, it is very reflective of how managers view who is worthy or not of a roster spot. Now that that’s covered, let’s dive into the waiver wire after week 13!
Players to double-check availability and immediately add:
- Jameis Winston, QB NO
- Michael Carter, RB ARI
- Tutu Atwell, WR LAR
- Cedric Tillman, WR CLE
- Tucker Kraft, TE GB
Joe Flacco, QB CLE
First on the list today is a surprisingly good performance from Flacco – 254 yards and two touchdowns in his first start for the Browns basically off the couch and without Amari Cooper for half the game. I know that there’s risk here with adding Flacco because the Browns could just go back to Dorian Thompson-Robinson if he’s healthy next week, but I actually think Flacco is a better quarterback right now as the Browns continue to fight for a playoff spot in the AFC. And for fantasy, the next three matchups for Cleveland are Jacksonville, Chicago, and Houston, all currently bottom-12 in points allowed to opposing quarterbacks.
With more bye weeks this week for Kyler Murray and Sam Howell, plus all the other injuries and replacements to quarterbacks over the last couple of weeks, you may just need Flacco to keep your playoff and championship hopes alive!
