The move could have come long ago but the Titans obviously wanted to be sure about the change. Tannehill, 31, now in his second year in Tennessee has a starting skill-set but was never able to turn the corner in his six years with Miami. Drafted eighth overall in 2012, he's amassed 123 touchdowns to only 76 interceptions and an 87 career passer rating. It could be argued he's far more likely to have success this time around now that he's finally under center on a team with a capable offense, a noteworthy defense and a respected coaching staff. While not a dynamic talent, DLF's QB38 is certain to rise over the next week and could have low-end QB2 upside until more is known about his consistency and production.
