Dynasty Rookie Report Card: De’Von Achane and Michael Wilson

Each week throughout the 2023 NFL season, I’ll cover two rookies in the Rookie Report Card and will generally write about the most prominent performers from that particular week. I’ll discuss how well he’s lived up to expectations at the NFL level, and then I’ll grade the player in three categories: their performance to date, rookie season potential, and long-term upside.

De'Von Achane, RB MIA

Week 3 stats: 18 carries for 203 yards and two touchdowns, four receptions on four targets for 30 yards and two touchdowns, 51.3 PPR points, RB1, and the overall #1 fantasy option in week three.

As a freshman at Texas A&M in 2020, Achane played six games as a backup to Isaiah Spiller. He rushed for 364 yards and four touchdowns and had 97 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was named the MVP of the 2021 Orange Bowl after rushing for 140 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries and adding two receptions for 24 yards through the air.
