Players to double-check availability and immediately add:
This is really just a precautionary add in your superflex leagues. If Brissett is available, I would be scooping him up now just in case he takes over the starting role at some point this season, and to save you some FAAB, you should be doing it now before that week he replaces Sam Howell actually happens. Howell didn’t have a terrible game, but he did struggle, only averaging 6.5 yards per attempt, throwing an interception, losing a fumble that was recovered for a touchdown, plus just being sacked six times total, and all of this against the presumed 2024 1.01 Arizona Cardinals who scored 9 points on offense and barely accumulated 200 total yards on offense. If Howell continues to struggle against better teams and defenses, he could be benched in favor of Brissett, and you want to get ahead of that if he’s still on your waiver wire in superflex leagues.
