The Eagles have released tight end CJ Uzomah.

Uzomah was hoping to latch on with Philadelphia after two lackluster seasons with the Jets. That wasn't in the cards for the veteran tight end, who failed to impress over the past month in camp. Uzomah will likely latch on somewhere as a depth tight end but it looks like his days of fantasy relevance may be over.
