Three College Quarterbacks to Stash, Trash, or Keep in Devy Leagues

Brandon Haye

We saw in this draft that the NFL is hungry for good quarterbacks. In devy leagues you always need to have a good pipeline, so let’s look at some moves you could make for that position.

Stash: Garrett Nussmeier, LSU

LSU must replace their Heisman quarterback, Jayden Daniels, now that he is in the NFL. The offense will look different, but the drop-off may not be too far with Nussmeier. He was a top 150 recruit back in 2021 but has not had a ton of experience, with only 219 career attempts in three years. Nussmeier has had two huge games in his career - 294 yards against Georgia in 2022 and 395 yards against Wisconsin in the bowl game during the 2023 season.
