2024 Dynasty Fantasy Football Rookie Profile: Jayden Daniels, QB LSU

Rob Willette

Nearly every year, a quarterback ascends from the periphery of the draft consciousness to become a legitimate, high-end prospect ready to crash the draft party. While he was far from an unknown in college football circles, Jayden Daniels was seen as a developmental prospect as opposed to a bona fide first-rounder heading into 2023.

All he did was post 50 total touchdowns on his way to the Heisman Trophy. Most importantly, Daniels improved in almost every aspect of his game. He refined his mechanics and became a big-play machine, averaging an absurd 11.7 yards per attempt. Having a pair of first-round receivers in Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr certainly helped, but it was a sensational year for Daniels at the most opportune time.

He is certainly not without flaws, but his tools and improvement have helped him become a popular pick at QB3. We examine his game below.
