In case you are reading this, there is one bit of information to know before you start reading names. Just like last year’s series, we will be utilizing player rostership percentages, courtesy of real dynasty rosters from 1700 MFL leagues. While this may not be entirely accurate for every individual league, it is very reflective of how managers view who is worthy or not of a roster spot. Now that that’s covered, let’s dive into the waiver wire after Week 7!
Players to double-check availability and immediately add:
Aidan O’Connell, QB LV
Gardner Minshew, QB IND
Malik Willis, QB & Will Levis, QB TEN
Jordan Mason, RB SF
Kendrick Bourne, WR NE
Terrace Marshall, WR CAR
Cade Otton, TE TB
Royce Freeman, RB & Darrell Henderson, RB LAR
We got some clarity on the Rams’ backfield without Kyren Williams, which is a 60-40 committee between Darrell Henderson and Royce Freeman, no one else was involved in any way. Both running backs produced well, Henderson led the way with 61 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries, plus a couple of targets, and Freeman tallied 66 yards on 12 carries. This should be the projected usage for this backfield for the next three weeks with Williams on IR, so if you’re able to pick up either back, specifically Henderson, you could be adding a top-20 running back through the middle of November, which could be massive for some contending teams out there. But even if you’re rebuilding, don’t be afraid to add these guys to use as trade bait for free draft picks from desperate contenders.
