Xavier Worthy, WR and Quinn Ewers, QB Texas pull the upset against Alabama
The talk of the college football world was the Texas Longhorns pulling the upset on the road against the Alabama Crimson Tide. A big reason for the upset was great play from Ewers, a former five-star recruit. With questions coming into the season if he could perform like a future first-round pick, he answered the call against Alabama’s defense, throwing for 349 yards and three touchdowns. His top receiver Worthy caught five passes for 75 yards and a touchdown as well. The Texas duo could both be first-round picks in April.
