The Broncos have signed running back JK Dobbins.
Read moreIt’s no secret the tight end position is the least valuable in dynasty and fantasy football. The tight end premium format had to be created in order to provide value for tight ends.
There still seems to be a lack of true difference makers despite generational talents such as Gronk and Travis Kelce dominating the position. However, players like Dallas Goedert, TJ Hockenson, Kyle Pitts, and Pat Freiermuth could change our opinion and trajectory of the position itself.
Last draft cycle saw a record total of six tight ends drafted over days one and two. Some of the rookies selected will have the opportunity to make a big impact this season.
And finally, here is the last piece to my scouting series this summer focusing on 2024 tight end prospects. I hope you enjoyed this series. Stay tuned for next year!
Bowers exploded onto the season in his true sophomore season for the Bulldogs in 2022. Listed at 230 lbs, he is a physical specimen at his 6 ft 4 frame and his game is similar to George Kittle. Bowers has soft hands and is natural at catching the ball in space. He is physical in the open field and finishes his run with power and explosiveness. Bowers versatility ranges from being lined up in-line all the way to lining outside the numbers on the perimeter and used in motion. He is an elite catch/run threat and has the speed to separate downfield and create explosive plays. He is also physical as a blocker, and will lift/drive to displace and finish his blocks. He has the talent to never come off the field and is a dynamic, athletic tight end that is a matchup nightmare. He is the next coming of the elite TE1 that will lead his team in receptions, yards, and touchdowns.
Kyle Pitts was taken with the fourth overall pick in 2021. Bowers will be the next one in 2024.
