2023 Dynasty Riser, Faller and Longshot Predictions: Dallas Cowboys

Which players could be rising, falling or making a bigger impact than expected this season?

Tony Pollard

Summer is the best time to evaluate dynasty assets and their place in the dynasty market. In this brand-new series, we will bring you a riser, faller, and longshot from each NFL team. We’ll cover dynasty values, potential trades, and overall team outlooks.

Let’s jump into the Dallas Cowboys!

RISER: Tony Pollard, RB

For the first time in seven seasons, the Dallas backfield will not be led by Ezekiel Elliott. The former Buckeye parted ways with the only franchise he knew this off-season, paving the way for his much-heralded backup to take the reins.

Now, there are many instances where the assumed, new starting running back on a team will be hyped all off-season on hopium only to fail spectacularly in the Fall… this is NOT one of those situations.

Right now, Pollard is the RB12 and 36.67 overall in June’s DLF ADP.

Good stuff – love these riser/faller pieces. After all, isn’t that what we’re constantly, perhaps silently, doing all the time in dynasty? Me thinks DLF is massively undervaluing Pollard. RB12? There’s easily 4-5 or more RB’s above him in that list that I’d easily take Tony over. Old dudes, unproven rookies, and he’s clearly ascending. Imagine if he get’s a deal done before camp and stays the alpha this year in big D. Top 5 RB for next 3 years. Best,
